Any time you get a chance to make a double-page spread featuring the amazing Vanessa Williams take it! That's what I did in this overhaul and redesign for the Livermore Arts Gala.

You can really have fun when you design for an arts organization. I helped them push their boundaries a bit by creating playful icons and a clear layout.

Livermore Arts needed an ad for its classic film series & I over-delivered just a bit, created a layered Photoshop image that makes it look like the posters are old and pasted on a brick wall.

I fell in love with a class I was taking on Torah and Talmud and offered to design the group's commentary on the chapter we studied together.

Oh so beautiful, the commentaries on the Talmud were. I couldn't help but respond with beautiful spreads.

I was particularly taken by one of my fellow student's take on Lady Gaga's song Battle for Your Life Babylon. How many Talmud commentaries include Lady Gaga, I ask you?

I created a number of infographics to accompany articles for the Civil Society How-To. This one illustrates the differences between hierarchy and democracy when it comes to the communication.

These simple graphics use brand colors and simple graphics to quickly communicate the value of the client's services.

This 2-part graphic distills and accompanies a lecture from a human rights lawyer on the process of interviewing witnesses.

This is the second part of a 2-part graphic on interviewing witnesses.

This is a selection of slides from an infographic I created on the impact of economic sanctions on Iran. This was done with a team that scoured tons of documents in Persian and English. Together we made sense of the information and simplified it to create a 20-part infographic slideshow.

I created this graphic to help me understand the impact of dual class shares and then cleaned it up for social media posting by the client.

Het Joods Manifest (The Jewish Manifesto) needed an initial design to get it kickstarted. I created the logo using colors and elements of the parent organization, Oy Vey. After a bit of trial and error, we changed the initial lightweight font choice to the more sturdy and readable Roboto.

Examples of quote cards for sharing on Instagram using the main brand colors. These were also resized for stories.

This poster was made to promote a program from Milieudefensie (Friends of the Earth) using their brand colors and images from participants.

Brown woman, with dark brown curly hair tied back, in a green and blue jacket with the mileudefensie logo, pointing to the viewer. Behind her is a green backround with an illustration of a flame and some circles in orange.

This sticker was made to promote a program from Milieudefensie (Friends of the Earth) using their brand colors. The other side has text on it, so that when you get the sticker, you also get details about the program.

Wij zijn niet te stoppen de klimaatcrisis wel - letters are made with parts of the earth. The words sit on a dark green background with an orange flame.

I made this animated gif for the launch of Ranking Digital Rights' new brand.
